Cycle day 79. Bfn. What gives?

I got my mirena out in September of last year. My periods are still not regular. This is the longest I've gone without my period when not on birth control. What the heck? Anyone else experience this?

Cycle day 83 here. I have an appointment on the 26th. I have taken a bajillion tests. All negative. We shall see. I have never had the Mirena.

I'm in a similar boat! Stopped oral contraceptives in January, first two cycles were about 30 days, but since then each cycle has gotten longer, I'm now cycle day 80! I had a negative HCG blood test and normal hormonal panel my last cycle which went 67 days. It's beyond frustrating because at this rate I'd only have like 3-4 ovulations a year, and that's if I'm even ovulating! I never thought I'd be praying for a period! Either way I have my first OBGYN appointment next week. I'm kinda convinced I have PCOS, but I guess we'll see!! Good luck on your search and struggle!!

I had very irregular periods after getting off BC last May (pill, not Mirena) but I eventually went into the doctor to see what was up. 1 round of Clomid later, and I'm expecting! Were you cycles ever regular? Mine were irregular before getting on BC at 18, and apparently never evened out. When the doc heard how irregular/long my cycles were, he was almost certain I was ovulating regularly, if at all, and that Clomid would be the next step. He did do a progesterone test, which further backed up his thought that I wasn't ovulating regularly. I would definitely go to your doctor and try to get some answers! Best of luck & baby dust.

Update: They say it's normal and want to put me back on BC. Ugh!

Same here, cycle day 41 as of today. All HPT are negative, blood test at the emergency room this morning, negative. I had the mirena for 5 years. Got it removed in January of this year. My cycles were between 32 and 37 days. Then, it seems my period has just stopped. No PCOS, No PID, no infections or STD's. Its just stopped. Doctor said it can take up to a year for my body to regulate. I don't buy that though. Let me know what you end up finding out??
