Too much milk for baby?

Hi all my son was born quite small he is 6 days old and sometimes he will drink 3oz of breastmilk every 3 hours!
Other then drinking a lot he is a pretty happy baby he sleeps well rarely cries and seems pretty content. Should I just let him eat as much as he wants ?

Yes and that's not really a lot. At a week old my daughter was drinking 4oz every 2-3 hrs.

With breastfed babies 4 oz is all they will need after the first week. Your milk changes to their needs and becomes fattier as they grow.

Newborns should be fed on demand. If he's hungry let him eat. 
Remember to feed more at night too during the witching hours, breastfed babies cluster fed during this time to tank up for the night. 
Once he gets to three months you can slowly change him to bigger amounts every three hours. 
My baby was the same and now has 200ml every three hours and an 250ml before bedtime.

Yes my daughter can eat 3-4oz at a time, unless he is eating till he throws up let him enjoy his food!

There no such thing as over feeding a newborn baby. Newborn babies eat as much as they need /want. They will stop when they are satisfied and full. They will cry for more when they need it. Do not put ur newborn on a feeding diet. They eat as much as,they need too
