Please tell me I'm not the only one ._.

I know for a fact that my period isnt "normal". It almost never comes at the same time as it did the month before, my flow is insane- the first day (sometimes the first two) I have to change my tampon every two hours and sometime even every hour, and I use super plus; I go through tampons like crazy. The cramps, oh my god the cramps. Midol hardly even takes the edge off. I'm stuck in bed in fetal position for hours, and sometimes they get so bad that I start vomiting. I'm making an appointment this week to see a gynecologist, but I just want to know that I'm not the only one this happens/has happened to. And if it has been like this for you in the past, what was the issue and what did they do to fix it? I've heard before that this is a sign of infertility, is that true? Apologies if this post seems incredibly dumb. It's probably something I should have gone in for long before now.
