My story:

Yesterday in the early morning (5:00am) I came into l&d for my second day in a row with a headache. This time when I came in I had been throwing up. I thought that they were going to give Mr meds to help and send me home again. Boy was I ever so wrong! My son looked good on all the monitors and I was having contractions, nothing new. Then, when the doctor was about to send me home he started acting funny. His heart dropped after a contractions. So the doctor ordered a ultrasound just to be sure he was doing okay. Well during the ultrasound he didn't move or practice breathing at all and his heart rate was dropping. And it wasn't getting any better. So after a few minutes of everyone panicking around me and not telling me what's going on the nurse comes in and says "were doing a emergency c section." I started to freak out!! Shaking and crying. Doc came in and explained to Me why and that he probably was going to have problems and be sent to Denver and I won't be able to meet him right away. I was praying like I've never done before. Next thing I knew at 10:56 am I heard a loud cry from my baby boy. He came out completely healthy and perfect! He amazed everyone. He's 6lb 11oz 19 1/4in and is the perfect baby! We're breastfeeding wonderfully and he has zero complications.

I was one of those moms who thought I'd go over my dd (8/27) but instead I met my baby a little early. I also thought I was going to have a natural birth but yet again, I was proven wrong.
