Numb pelvic/groin area

Anyone else having this problem? I've had a numb groin area (switches from side to side) and recently the numbness started shooting down my inner thigh. It actually hurts quite a bit and stops me in my tracks while I'm walking. My Dr. said the baby is sitting really low. Could it be he's right on some nerves down there? I'm 39W3days hoping this is over very soon...😭
