Would you kill yourself if terminally ill?

OKAY READ BEFORE YOU FREAK OUT. would you deliberately take a lethal dose to kill yourself if you were terminally ill? If you had already tried EVERYTHING and knew you were going to die would you take the pill to legally kill yourself? 
Apparently a decent amount of terminally ill people do this, I never knew you could. So would you?

If I was very likely to become bed bound, incontinent, struggle to feed myself or give myself drinks then absolutely, regardless of what age I was. It's frightening that people can live this way for years and years and years. I've worked with so many people like this and it really makes you count your blessings and make the most of things. I'd rather die than live like that

It depends on what the illness is, how painful, and if it involves loss of cognitive skills. I do think I should have the legal right to make that choice though.

No been terminally ill at birth wouldn't be here if we listened to the Doctors doom y gloom.My mom they gave a year to live with cancer.30 yrs later she was clapping at my daughters school events to loving every minute of her grandma years.Plus she went at the end knowing we loved her.The night before she died we talked about everything she was glad she didn't miss as we said our goodbyes.

Yes. If I knew I was going to die anyway, let me go as myself on my terms.

Sadly this option wasn't around when my grandma was dying.

If i was going to be in pain , yes. If I was just going to die slowly, or not know when I would die, no. I'd want to live it out as long as I could

Id rather not play with fate, I'd that makes sense. Like I get I'm ill but i guess it's my bodies choice when I want to die and I don't wanna test those waters. Lol

My state has die with dignity and I would definitely take that option before putting my family through taking care of me or being forced into horrific medical debt.

Depending on the quality of life, yes. I can't see living day in and day out in incredible pain 24/7 that doesn't respond to treatment and is only going to get worse.
