I'm almost 31 weeks pregnant. We live far from family. We only have a crib and clothes so far. We are first time parents. I lie awake at night running over everything in my mind that we have left to do. We worry about money and how we will provide for a child. And then our landlord texts us today and says they are raising the rent $150 a month 😳 I feel like puking, passing out and dying all at once. That may not sound like a whole lot to some, but it's definitely piling on the stress. What would you do? Is it worth trying to work something out? They are being very firm and just saying that if we can't pay the extra, we will have to be out before October (a few weeks before I'm due). Understandable that we need to leave if we can't pay the extra, but thinking about finding a new place to live a few months before having a baby is blowing my mind. Any encouragement is appreciated!
