Molar Pregnancy, has anyone experienced this?

Was cofirmed that I have a "Molar pregnancy". I don't know which one of the 2 yet, I have another dr apt tomorrow to go over details and set up the D&C. I'm numb. I don't know what to feel, I'm more on a roller-coaster of emotions. Trying to be strong but can't get it through my head that I'm that 1 out of 1,000 pregnancies.

Any ladies have gone through this? What happens after? What should I expect? Is there any hope of TTC again?

I had a partial in June. Luckily my HCG went negative in 5 weeks. There is a good Facebook group called my molar pregnancy support group. These ladies have had every experience you can think of when it comes to molar pregnancies. They have a wealth of information.

After the D&C, they'll probably do a chest X Ray and then weekly draws until negative then monthly draws for 3-6 months. If you don't go negative or have raises in levels, you might need chemo, but it's mild methotrexate. My sister takes it for arthritis and it just makes her tired, but everyone is different. Also, sorry I didn't say it sooner, I'm so sorry for your loss. A miscarriage is hard enough, but adding in a molar just compounds the feelings (at least for me).

Also, we're trying to conceive now. If it's partial and you go negative so quickly, the literature says one period after negative. My doc says three months negative, but we are ignoring. Complete is a little different though and every one is different.
