Long Distance Advice?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 6 months and we want to try a long distance relationship. He moved in to his college about an hour and a half away the other day. He's absolutely horrible with communication (takes at least an hour or two to respond to text and usually just practical subject matter), and my anxiety makes me super stressed out about it. Any advice for making it work?
