Period?

I'm 5 weeks postpartum. Around 3 weeks pp I stopped bleeding, the 4th week was just brown discharge. Today I went to wipe and it was blood again. Not enough to be in the toilet, but a lot when I wiped, kinda slimy too. Is this my period? Lol feels so weird asking that. Let me know how your first period after birth was like!

I got my period 4 weeks after delivery like clockwork and have had it every month since. I was and am breastfeeding still. We are over a year past giving birth. When I got it it was brown sometimes and bright red too. As long as you are not filling up a pad in an hour you should be fine. Call a dr if worried.

I got my first period at 3 months postpartum because I was breastfeeding. Normally, any bleeding within 6 weeks of delivery is considered to be a result of birth.
