Period after baby?

Baby boy is 5 weeks now! Bleeding and everything pretty much stopped, just some brownish discharge alittle but. But staring today have been having some red blood not a lot but not alittle, maybe some period like cramps too? How long till you guys got your period after delivery?

I spoke too soon. Today, it's A LOT of bleeding. The most in my life. Through an "ultra" tampon & pad 😞

Mine came 4 mo the after delivering and I think it's because I breastfed for 3 months straight then started weaning off so I've heard when you stop nursing your baby the period comes sooner.

My baby will be 7 weeks on Friday & I believe my period came today lol - I haven't had one in so long, but brownish DC to start, now some light pink spotting... Little crampy as well 👿
