Changing for your significant other

My fiancé and I have been through a rough patch lately. And we have talked and he has said he wants to make changes with us. For me to dress up a little more wear I guess curve fitting clothes and more make up. I'm simple. I wear cute and comfortable clothes. Not sweats or big shirts. But shorts and a spaghetti strap shirt and sometimes a nice over shirt. And I wear foundation and eyeshadow eyeliner and mascara. That's it. But he wants me to go all out. And start with the contouring. I don't mind that. But his ex. Learned all that from his family. And he wants me to learn from his family. I feel like he's turning me into her. I'm not sure. But what is yalls opinion.
