2 cm!!! How long did it take you start labor??

I went to doctor today and I am 1.5- almost 2 cm dialated!! I was curious for those who have had babies before- when you were 2 cm dilated- how long before you actually start labor/contractions!!?! This is my fifth child so
I know every pregnancy is different! Just curious!

I was 1 cm exactly a week before my baby arrived.

I was 2cm for about 2 weeks. It was more of a tease for me to know that my baby had been progressing then seemed to slow down. Was so close but yet so far away.

I was stuck in 3cm for hours had to have a emergency c sec. I guess everyone is different .
