Tonsil Stones

Anyone have experience with tonsil stones?? I've only looked into it in the past year or so, but I've coughed them up for years now. When I poked at a big one lodged in my throat tonight, a bit of blood came with it. I did get it all out by gargling water. The crater it left was pretty sizeable.
