Teens wanting a child...
I recently saw a post of someone saying there's been a lot of teens 14-17 on here wanting children and I just wanted to have my input. And I respect the young teen moms who are already doing it, you're awesome! But I also think those young teen moms who are already doing it would even tell you to wait!! But just somethings I think about when I think of having children...
I think about having to bring a child along on my honeymoon or having to find someone to watch my child for 1-2 weeks so my husband and I can go on our honeymoon by ourselves. I think SLEEP! I rather have an extra hour of sleep in the am rather than having to get up an hour early so my kids ready for daycare or school! Lol I think about being able to run to my warm car in the winter and in seconds I'm inside a warm car rather than having to freeze my ass off buckling them in and same goes with rain! I think of saving $1000 on daycare each month. I think of being able to go to Steak n Shake on whim at midnight because I'm hungry and bored and don't have a child sleeping in the next room. I think of that pair of cute boots I want for the fall rather than formula and diapers. I think of going out to party for my best friends birthday because I don't have to find an overnight sitter and then get up at the crack of dawn with a hangover and watch a baby. I think of completing school and being able to study for my test without having to "ignore" my child. I think of being able to eat my dessert or yummy snack without having to share or sneak in the bathroom to eat it so I don't have to share. I think of being able to go to South Padre Island on spring break with my friends because I 1. Was able to save the money rather than spend it on a baby and 2. I have no need to find a week long sitter and abandon my child because I don't have one. I think of being able to watch The Walking Dead and OITNB instead of Bubble Guppies and Paw Patrol. I think of being able to have sex whenever I want because my 2 year old isn't existent to even have to worry about seeing or hearing us. I think of being able to go the mall or grocery store without a stroller or a child screaming bloody murder in public.
Just some of the few reasons I'll wait to have kids and why you should wait too! 😁 I also have 7 nieces and nephews and I am too busy loving them right now, I babysit a lot, so since I'm too busy loving them and only 22 and still in college living at home, I have made the decision to wait until I'm married to have children. And I think you young teens should wait too!! Just think about what I posted!
