Shield or pumping for really sore nips
I have a shield but I haven't tried it yet. I'm having a lot of nipple pain looks too me like their slowly getting better from being cracked & blistered. I try & air dry when I can but they just burn... Will a shield help with the pain? If not I'm considering pumping. I really don't want too stop nursing but I literally cringe at feeding time & she nurses on demand every hour or two. Very short feedings tho which brings be too my next question... She'll wake from a two hour nap get on the boob & eat for 6-10 min & pass out again. Does this mean she's getting a lot of milk out of those 6+ mins or???
