Should i still use the clothes I've bought?

December 12, 2015 (I was 26 weeks 5 days) I lost my daughter to trisomy 18 but I still have all of the clothes I bought her. Now, I'm pregnant with my rainbow baby which I found out that I'm having another girl.... should I use the clothes and other things I've gotten for the new baby or just keep it safe in a memory box? I feel guilty if I do because it was meant for Allison or would it be okay because it would be for Allison's sister?
I have mixed emotions plus, I cry when ever I pull out allison clothes... I don't know what to do :-( any thoughts?

We decided to keep some things for our baby that passed, things that will only be his, and use the rest. Had your baby lived you would have probably passed her stuff on to siblings anyway. It by know means you've forgotten or replaced her, you and I both know that will never happen. My husband and I feel happy knowing new baby will have some of his/her big brother's stuff.

I would keep some things for memory and use the rest. Thats her sister she and you will know youer,not trying to replace her. So sry for your loss. I too lost a baby girl at 18wk. My rainbow was a boy and i hadnt bought anything yet for her. Sometimes i call my new baby( 24wk girl) skye without thinking. Buts she is not skye shes our butterfly and while i miss her i know im,not replacing her. Its just hard not to think what could have been and thats why i slip but,im only human and you. :)

I think you should use them. It's quite beautiful that your little one can share something with her sister. The other two options are holding on to everything without it ever being worn or donating it/getting it out of the house so I think sharing & remembering might be best. X

I think it would be nice for her to wear her sisters clothes :) they would have probably been passed down had Allison had the chance to wear them, and I'm sure she wouldn't mind sharing with her sister! But if it truly pains you to use them and bring them out, then keep them where you have them.

We are going to use ours. I truly believe Marley would be more than happy for her sis to use her things.

I would use them all. It doesn't mean you've forgotten your first baby just because your second baby is using them.

I understand how you're feeling. I lost my daughter in January after she was born premature, and I'm due again in December with her little sibling. I wasn't sure what I was going to do if this baby had ended up a girl. I probably wouldn't have used her clothes for the new baby, just because they had been bought for her, but I'm having a boy, so I'm not sure exactly what I would've done. don't feel bad for wanting to keep the clothes in a memory box instead of using them. it's all up to you, whatever makes you happy. ❤️
