Your child will only be a baby ones. enjoy it!
I have an 3 week old that sleeps in our bed and needs me to hold him most of the day. I feel this is natural considering he was in my body for 9 months. I wouldn't dream of letting my child cry it out. Babies stop crying because they lose hope that you will ever come to their rescue to make them feel safe and secure and loved. Not because he has learned a "lesson". A child's need for his mother is as intense as his need for food. They adjust and find their own comfort when they are developmentally ready. Some children adjust sooner than others. But ultimately our time with our children is so limited and passes so fast, why not enjoy every minute of it?
