Baby sleeping in Pack n Play?

Question

Hi! This might be a dumb question, but for those moms that have used a PnP as the first bed for their child, I'm guessing they sleep in the top mattess position?

We have the Graco Cuddle Cove one, and while the cuddle cove attachment has a vibration option, it also has a slight incline and padding, so I'm scared to use that for overnight sleep.

With our first he slept in the cuddle cove! Oops, bad mom I guess. But he liked sleeping at an incline. He also slept in the Rock and play- he hated being on his back and I figured incline was better than side or stomach! Hopefully his little sister will be a tad easier on mom and dad, but we're planning on her sleeping in the pack n play for at least the first two months until she starts sleeping longer stretches and can sleep in her own crib in the nursery

Does it have a bassinet on top? That would be ideal, but the higher part of the pnp would be fine too

We're using a pack n play during the day while we're downstairs. At bed time he will be in his crib. I don't mess around when it comes to crib sleeping at night.

My little one used a pack and play and we didn't have any problems, we also had a crib but used the pack and play more. :)

Yes we will be using the bassinet insert as it is a firm mattress for safe sleeping. Ours came with a bouncer seat and changing table, but even if it came with one of seats at the top that they advertise for them to sleep in, we would not be using it. I did a ton of research on what we would use and that seemed to be a good safe and practical solution for us

My daughter slept in the top part until she was able to sit up then I switched her to the bottom part. She will be 1 this month and still sleeps in her pack n play.
