Clogged duct?

Help! I'm a ftm and newer to Bf . My baby is 2 months and all of the sudden my left breast hurts. Around my nipple it feels very veiny which I assume are the milk ducts . I've tried heat and nursing but it's not helping. Does anyone know how to get rid of it?

I read somewhere to use the heat, then use the bottom of an electric toothbrush to break up the milk kinda like a massage. I found good info on Pinterest about this too.

I had a very bad clogged duct last week with a high fever. I nursed the baby on that side, then got in the shower as hot as I could stand it and pushed and massaged for about ten minutes. Then i got out and pumped from that side for ten minutes. It felt a lot better. From then on I made sure to completely empty that breast. The pain went away within two days.

I had one a few days ago & I googled what to do. I pumped that side for 10 mins. Then I put my son on it but in a different position from what I normally have him in & get a warm rag on it. & was still tender but it didn't hurt as much. & I did that every feeding

I was told to warm compress, don't pump it could aggravate the duct. warm compress on and off for 5 minutes. and you can try the massage the area to relieve the pain as well. if your boob becomes purple swollen go to doctor.
