Fluctuating HCG

Thursday 8/11 I got my BFP. 8/13 I had bad bleeding and cramping and passed tissue and thought I miscarried. 8/15 my dr ordered blood work and ultrasound, hcg was at 59 and no signs of ectopic on the ultrasound. 8/17 my blood shot up to 165! Just viewed my results from Friday and back down to 123 now. I feel like this HAS to be ectopic. Has anyone ever had their hcg fluctuate and have a healthy pregnancy? Now I'm going to stress all weekend again until my Monday blood work and the doctor gets back with me.
