Visitors who smoke

So I need opinions...FTM here. My SO and I weren't smokers before the pregnancy so we could never really stand the smell of cigarettes (he can tolerate it more then I can) but his mom is a chain smoker and we both have other family members who smoke. We live out of state from everyone but once they start visiting after baby is here I know I'm going to freak out if anyone thinks they can hold the baby after they just had a cigarette.
