Braxton Hicks?!

So, I've been having bad period like cramps for 5 days in a row now..they were so bad last night that I couldn't fall asleep until 5 this morning. They're still terrible today.. I went to triage on Friday, because of a little spotting I had that morning. The monitor was picking up my contractions, but they were small.. the Dr checked me and said my cervix is long, hard, and closed, so I must just be having braxton hicks.. REALLY?!? I'm in so much pain!

I don't know what to do. I'm 32 weeks, 5th pregnancy. I'm seriously counting down the days now..
