Panic/anxiety attacks!! Anyone else??

35 weeks and been having panic/anxiety attacks for past 2 weeks randomly, for no reason, happens mostly when my ears are congested. I feel like i cant breathe, the walls are closing in, like im gonna die! What's up with that??  Anyone else experience this weirdness?  If so what helps?

I had to get back on meds because mine was so bad... I know drinking lots of water helped.. eating bananas... warm baths... lavender scents... deep breathing exercises... splashing cold water on my face... there's a lot of suggestions on pinterest. It's the hormones doing it to you unfortunately.. just try to not let it get to you because it can take over your life fast. Just remind yourself it'll pass and it's not life threatening. Good luck!

I would talk to your doctor about it. Is isn't very good for baby. My doctor recommended that I talk to someone. I have always had anxiety, too, and getting ready for baby doesn't help. My family keeps pushing my husband and I to do things (things that need to be done) but the thing is that they don't stop. As soon as one problem is fixed, there's another according to them. It's so tiring. It's like there's no rest. Even on the day of my baby shower, they were painting the nursery and I had family members that hadn't seen our house. The house was a disaster and i didnt want them to see all of that! Now i have more people wanting to come out here and get help me get "rid" of things that are in the dining room. Those things are my husband's things and most of them are important. Idk where we are going to put all of it but still. It not my stuff and it isn't theirs, either. I just want to let him deal with it. He knows what everything is! I'm in between my parent's and my husband and also my mother-in-law because we have a lot of her stuff and my mom and dad just want us to dump it but we can't-- it isn't our's and she doesn't want some of it moved. My parents axt like we're totally stupid and they say, "Well something has got to be done. There's a baby on the way!". It's like no duh. Have you seen my belly? Everything in the house is clean and we have a few things to put up but that's all. I just wish my family would bud out and let my husband and I make our own decisions.  Sorry for dumping all of this on you! Lol

Yes! I cried to my OB. She recommended the app Calm. I have the free version and it's pretty helpful to listen to the rain pour down. xoxo hope it goes away for you and all of us suffering.

Congested ears? From allergy or cold? Has your doctor recommended anything for you to take for that? My allergies are super bad at night and the nasal drip is choking me. It's gross. The nasal spray isn't working so I may ask her which otc drugs to enjoy using lol

I started getting panic attacks when I was in the hospital around 18 weeks... I've been on a low dose anxiety medicine since and didn't have another one until last week after a scare with the baby. I asked a nurse friend and she said they usually go away after the baby is born if you didn't have them before.

I have always had anxiety.. but this pregnancy is killing me with the anxiety attacks specially in the middle of the night😣

I am familiar with panic attacks although I have not had an attack during this pregnancy. That should come postpartum for me but I have been having a lot of anxiety the last 2 months or so. It's the worst. I wish you the best. Just try to relax. Sleep helps me when I have anxiety.
