Belly button piercing?

I'm worried about what it would look like in the future. Will it leave scars or a hole? Help!

I had mine pierced for almost 7 years, I had to take it out because I'm pregnant and my belly button is pushing out. There's still a hole because I've had it for a long time, and it will scar. I don't really mind though, I loved mine and I can't wait to put it back in.

You can't see, but there's a scar above mine from where the needle stuck me a second time. It barely touched me, and it scarred. It will leave a permanent hole/scar, but if one day you decide you don't want it, you'll barely notice the scar. They are totally worth it!

I got mine at 19. And then took it out at 27. I have a very small scare. It's really all about what you want m, how you feel. I took mine out because it just really didn't do anything for me. I never changed the bar bell and I used to get things caught on it. However I would do it all over again. And it didn't hurt.

My aunt for hers when she was 16 and took it out about 15 years ago and she can still put in a bellyring easily as if she never took it out.

Yes and no. I've had mine done since I was 13, now 17 and I can go months without wearing it and it doesn't close over. My sister has had hers done since 13, now 21 with two kids and all she says is that it looks a little since having two children
