Most inconvenient or unexpected place labor began?

Ladies where was the most inconvenient or unexpected place you went into labor? What were you doing when labor began? How did you manage to make it to the hospital ? Or back home if you planned a home birth?

There is always a ton of hype in movies, etc that make you believe as soon as labor starts you need to rush to the hospital. In reality the majority of women will have time to pack their bag, etc before heading to the hospital.

I took a shower, dried my hair, did my makeup and then headed to the hospital with my first.

I was at work. I stayed 6 hours because i really had nothing better to do lol. They won't admit you into the hospital until you're in active labor and that takes awhile usually. :)

The only time my water "broke" on its own surprising us was as I stood up from the exam table at my OB appt on my due date with my first...I was already being sent to the hospital for monitoring...now I was being sent for labor.
