First time mom - daughter is 2 & 1/2 weeks old & we are still figuring this whole thing out.  I have had painful,bleeding & crackednipples  this whole time.  I always thought I'd be such a cool mom bf-ing in public, but since I cry 3-4 times per day when latching & I sometimes just can't get milk to come out (I think due to the stress of anticipating how painful it will be) I am too embarrassed to feed in public & so I feel trapped at  home.  Sometimes we have so much trouble latching her & both she & I are having a meltdown while she grinds & twists my poor nupples to a pulp!  Any advice on getting through this time to the other side?
