Hi all! I was just wondering if any of you had any tips and tricks for saving money on your wedding. 😊

Update- I should have clarified... Our venue does all of the decorating! The woman has a whole room full of decorations to choose from, so we don't need to buy any of that!

I'm renting a property in France for 30 or so guests for my ceremony (each will pay accommodation which they are happy to do) then having a big party back in England after. No need for flowers, cars, cake, wedding favours etc!

Look at DIY for decorations. There are Facebook groups where you can buy used wedding decor for cheap from other couples trying to get rid of what they bought. Look to your community for items you can use. For example, a family at my parents church has started a circle to share stuff. They bought table linens for their daughters wedding and lend it to others around the church. My mom does the same with mason jars she bought for my sisters wedding. My sister also used fake flowers for her center pieces. Looked prett and saved a lot!

Think about what you really want and do that. Make a priority list. I have never been married but one day I will. I want to get eloped and have a party afterward. Like a potluck.

I bought my flowers for the centerpieces whole sale. I had 3 different arrangements, 1 was yellow rose petals around a vase with a floating candle in it, it looked great and a bag of real petals was like $20! Then I did submerged flowers & i bought yellow roses which came with 25 which was what I needed, one rose per vase-3 per table. The other centerpiece had more flowers but it was still cheaper than the florist. My cenue also did everything expect provide an officiant, photo/videographer, DJ & florist. Saved a ton
