Toxoplasmosis?

So I have a cat and yesterday I was tested for toxoplasmosis. I'm worried about it because I love my cat and he sleeps with me in bed and I just don't want to let go of him. I don't clean his poop but is it still possible to get it??

Toxoplasmosis grows after day 2 in the litter box. If your cat is an indoor cat, the chances of him getting it are not likely. It comes from the poo after eating rodents with toxoplasmosis. Unless your cat eats rodents and poops in your bed, I think you are okay.

If you've had the cat for a while, you are probably fine. Yes, cats are carriers, but people who don't own cats are more susceptible. I've never heard of anyone having to give up a cat for this reason.
