Making the first move sos

So i really like this dude and the feelings are totally mutual or as he says. So after a few days of him not even making a move but talking about wanting to fuck me and what not i finally had to mske the first move and i kissed him and he didnt even kiss me back. And we just kinda sat there. So I know obviously if I want to have sex with him or anything further than a kiss I will have to make the first move and I don't really know how. My friends say I should just grab his dick and get it over with but I just don't think that's the best way any ideas.
