so this is....weird. I gave birth July 10th, and I had a 2nd degree tear. the stitches ended up infected but I'm pretty sure that's irrelevant. I had sex at 3 weeks but I had no pain or problems, it didn't cause me to bleed. then at about five weeks I was using the bathroom and it felt like it opened up down where my stitches were, even though the stitches dissolved and I thought the area was healed. I didn't think anything of it, it was tender but that was it and I bled bright red for a couple of days, but I thought it was because I over did it. but last night I felt the area, and it definitely tore again. there's hardly anything in between my vagina and anus now. did this happen to anybody else? what can be done about it?
