Q&A: "Cord Blood Banking"

Gunce • Head of research at Glow. Unwilling infertility expert. 2 kids after 6 IVF treatments.

Hi everyone -

At 3:30 pm EST today - we will have a brief Q&A with the medical team at Americord about Cord Blood Banking. This is a great opportunity to ask any and all questions you may have about this relatively new option for parents, which can be a bit confusing at times.

Many parents choose to donate, rather than bank, their kids cord blood - which is a wonderful thing. However donation is not always possible. For example, my hospital only allowed donation Monday - Friday. I gave birth on a Sunday and was out of luck. We will have a separate Q&A about donating in few days. This particular Q&A is for anyone who has questions aboutbanking their baby's cord blood.

Thank you!
