My boyfriend is a construction foreman and works out of town most of the time. Him being gone has given me a greater appreciation for everything he does for the kids and I. And it makes me fall even more in love with him. Him being gone gives me a chance to miss him and to soak in every moment when he is home. I miss him terribly but look forward to him coming home.

When my husband and I first started dating we were extremely long distance, like he was in Iraq and Japan while I was in Arizona. Then he got stationed in Mississippi and I would fly out every couple of weeks to see him. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better relationship even with it being long distance. Of course it always depends on the people and if they want it to work. We were also best friends for years so that could be a part of why it worked for us.

Well, we have physical distance as he works 4 hour drive away from where we live. But it's cause we are forced and not cause we want to. Life struggles. 😶
