Pregnancy after Lap?

Just wondering how soon after laparoscopy have people gotten preganat? Im just afraid I'm going to go through this and still not be able to get pregnant...

I got pregnant immediately after my lap! Literally two weeks later. I was prescribed femara for fertility support.

Hi. I had my lap on 19th September as my dr had a suspicious of endometriosis that was confirmed. My period(or what I think it was my period as we can bleed a few days after the surgery)started on the 21st September. I had sex on the week after, like two or three days after the end of my period and I wasn't even counting ovulation and today I found out I'm pregnant so exactly a month after my surgery, after trying for 7 months and after the diagnosis.    Just wanting to give you some hope! Hap my lap one week ago after ttc for 3 years and now had stage IV endo diagnosed and chocolate cycsts everywhere. Have my post op appointment end Oct and then hopefully we will start ttc again naturally. So also interested in hearing success stories of BFP post lap.

My doctor says you are most fertile in the six months following your surgery. Mine was in May, fell pregnant in Sept. Ended in a miscarriage. But I still got pregnant

I hope this is your cycle too!! 🙏 I haven't gone in yet for mine...expecting ovulation in the next few days. I'm trying to keep my hopes up, but I also have an ivf consultation on Friday in case we decide to go that route. I'm going to try to be patient and give the surgery and letrozole a few cycles, but I'm also soooo tired of getting my hopes up and being let down 😣 We did 3 cycles of iui with clomid before the surgery with no success so I think that's part of the me losing hope for myself issue...

I had my first lap in February of 14. Had another this past June. Still not pregnant🖕🏻 and currently have an 8cm endometrioma on my left ovary. PLEASE make sure your doctor knows how to properly remove cyst/endo/fibroids so the scarring is minimal.

I had my lap/excision surgery for endo on December 28, 2015. I healed really nicely but the process of healing still took longer than I initially anticipated-but the huge postive change that surgery has made in my life is unbelievable. We decided to wait to start trying to conceive naturally until Summer 2016.  Started trying  in July and August. Despite doctors telling me there was a good chance I might not ever get pregnant, we found out I was pregnant on Sept 11th, and now I'm just a little over 9 weeks pregnant! I still have a lot of anxiety about my body's ability to keep this baby safe as I'd been told so often my endometriosis could affect my ability to get and stay pregnant, but now I'm just trying to focus on growing a healthy baby and remaining optimistic-getting so close to the second trimester!

Would love to k ow good stories too! Ttc first month now post lap. Your chances will be better if you do have endo to have the surgery and take it out! Endo will just continue to grow and could take over if you don't and then it will be very very hard!
