Breastpump with insurance?

Has anyone got a breast pump with their insurance or through Medicaid? How do I go about this? Thanks ladies.

I have United HealthCare. Mine was covered 100% and arrived 2 days after I ordered it. 😀

My Medicaid won't pay for it said it had to medically necessary sooo yeah. Good luck keep me posted if you find a way. I have amerigroup

I just got a call from a maternity nurse through my insurance and she explained everything I'm eligible for, including a free breast pump. She emailed me all the info and I just have to take the next steps myself.

Yes, I went to a website called Yummy Mummy, recommended by my husband's then-pregnant HR representative. I had several choices of pumps based on my insurance provider, and I received it less than two months later.

I messaged my insurance and they sent me the different websites I could go to to order it. It had to be one on their approved list and I just had to input my info and they contact your doctor to make sure you are pregnant. I got the Mandela advanced pump in style for free three days later:) I live in the US and I have Aetna.

I believe once you have the baby your OB has to write a prescription for you and you can fax it to the company Medicaid gives you.

Google it it should come up and you put in your information and they tell you. Mine only aloud rental while my sister inlaw got hers free

I have medicaid and at 36 weeks my OB wrote me a prescription, we brought it in, filled out a paper and haven't heard back since! I'm assuming I'll get it at the hospital ?
I was told it had to be "medically necessary" in order to get one 😑
