Dad's day off is Mom's busy day. (Rant)
My husband works 5 days a week. I'm currently pregnant, and decided to be a SAHM. This is my almost everyday routine: I get up, cook meals, do the dishes from the night before, sweep and mop the floors, straighten the bed and couch, and other random tasks. Then he comes home. Dinner is waiting, the house is clean, and I've turned off anything I may have been watching or doing so we can eat in peace.
He walks around in his shoes, or comes in and out of the house with slippers, so theres dirt on the floor. He's an awfully messy eater, so the crumbs are back on the floor. He doesn't clean up his own dishes (no matter how many times I've begged him "just wash your own dish!!!"), he has very wild hair so it gets EVERYWHERE in our bathroom. he stays up until 3am. Then we wake up and do it again.
Then he's off for two days. Here one would think, oo, a little help with the dishes? Sweep up your mess? Be together? No.
Watch him play games. Watch him eat crap as it spills on the floor MULTIPLE times (may I add, we have no* vacuum, so that means I'm sweeping crumbs from a carpet on to the wood). Watch toss his dishes into the sink, watch his stupid TV shows. And finally, he wants to nap.
On top of which, he wants me to go get a job??? Are you on DRUGS. I had a job at the beginning of the pregnancy, the house was a WRECK. I never had the engery to clean in my first trimester, mostly because I couldn't eat properly. Now he's in this habit of not cleaning io after himself, but I should get a job? You're joking. We're really not tight on money either. He just doesn't talk to me about our finances and he's spent money on xyz instead of gas money.
I try to keep things put together as best I can so our house doesn't look like squatters live here. And it, literally, gets thrown to the ground -_- I want to lay his pillow over his sleeping face right now LOL
Feels like I need to have a talk with his mom about her one and only baby being a douche bag before I shake the hell out of him.
OK I'm better now LOL
