Dilated 3 cm at 36+5
FTM here. I went to the doctor yesterday for a routine appointment and let her know that I had been feeling different the past few days... Baby feels lower, more frequent/stronger Braxton hicks and backaches, and I thought I may have lost my mucus plug earlier in the day.
She decided to do a cervical check and told me that baby is low and engaged and I'm 3 cm dilated and that I've certainly lost my mucus plug.
Since then, I've had strong backaches and menstrual type cramps, lots of Braxton hicks, some diarrhea and some light bleeding.
Any moms who have had similar experiences with previous pregnancies? Any guesses how long I have left?
I moved 500 miles on Monday and I'm still unpacking and totally not ready for the baby to come. I need another week to get things set up. It's hard to get things unpacked when I'm trying to rest and keep the contractions from picking up!!
She said that some women walk around for weeks at 3 cm but that we should definitely get our bags ready.
