Breast feeding with inverted nipples ??

Question

Any ladies have experience with breastfeeding while having inverted nipples ? Is it possible ? How hard is it ? Tips to help? I'm so nervous I won't be able to breastfeed😩😓

EDIT: I might be confused lol I think I have flat nipples not inverted... Gosh I really don't know the difference😩

My nipples were flat my whole life, but when my milk came in my nipples turned to monsters. Outward monsters. So yes, its possible. Breasts change when you breastfeed.

I have inverted nipples as well and I've been so worried about breastfeeding... I will be prepared to use a nipple shield but hopefully we can make it work without one. If I can't breast feed I will be very very disappointed:(

I used nipple shields and once he was around 4 months I was able to stop using them as he could get more boob in his mouth. Mine aren't inverted but they're flat and didn't pull out far enough, he was squashing them into the hard palate of his mouth. Hoping that i wont need them this time around as they've been quite stretched out now after 19 months (and still going) of breastfeeding

I struggled with this as well. Nipple shield helped quite a bit, but my son still couldn't get a great latch so I ended up pumping & letting him have breastmilk from a bottle. It was much easier on both of us & gave me peace of mind because I knew exactly how much he was getting to eat. I'm currently pregnant with our 2nd child & plan on doing that from the start this time. Hope that helps, good luck!! 😊

I use a nipple shield! If they unlatch during, you can take the shield off and try doing without for the rest of the feeding since it's been pulled out at that point by baby sucking

Rub an ice cube on them and boom💣😨 you are good to go. Try it and see if it works for you 😊 it did for me. Let me know if my advice went well.
