driving after giving birth?

so i had my baby on the 22nd, vaginal delivery, and i did not rip! they gave me a. prescription for pain meds but i havent taken any, im barely even bleeding. 
anyways baby has an appointment on monday but my mom says im not allowed to drive?
has anyone heard why?

Usually it is due to being on medication. But you said you didn't take any. I would calk your doctor's office and ask to be safe

Unless it's a really long drive, I can't see why. If it's a long drive it could just be uncomfortable, even if you haven't needed your pain pills.
Talk to your doctor. While your mother is your mother, unless she's a doctor as well, her opinion isn't as valid, even if it comes from a place of love.
