Parenting

I like how everyone always gets so defensive when it comes to any mothering or child decision. "My kid my choice". "Only I know what's best for my kid". Have you all forgotten the saying 'it takes a village'?
Point blank- parents do not always know what is best for their child. Having someone's best intrests does not equate to knowing what's best. I'm sorry but there are cultural norms and guidelines for a reason.
Shouldn't we all care about the kids other people are raising?
They will one day run the world.
Also it's funny how some issues are always 'the parents choice' and others are always public choice. It's hypocritical.
There's minute matters that don't really matter, then there the bigger issues in raising kids that affect everyone around the kid.
But yes, how other people raise their kids should matter to us.
