Could my eggs be ruined if it takes almost 4 months for me to get my period

I just got my period yesterday and the bleeding and cramps are super heavy. I also didnt get my period in 4 months. Yes it took for months for me to get my period. Im very scared that something could be wrong with my eggs or body to the point were if i decided to have children it could affect them horribly.
