Is it colic?

My little girl will start crying, and sometimes it eventually turns into a fitful scream. She stops crying when I nurse her or give her a bottle of milk. If that soothes her, and she doesn't cry after eating, does that mean it wouldn't be colic? I'm worried that she's not always hungry when she screams, but it's the only way to calm her down!

My baby does this. After a long night of almost constantly nursing we figured out that she's sensitive to things going on in our house (The dogs running around, TV on, lights on, people talking, etc.) She gets over stimulated and nursing is the only way she knows how to soothe herself (we thought she was cluster feeding) my mom took her into a dark room and rocked her to sleep and the poor girl was out hard. Then the same thing happened again today. Just something to think about

Normally a pacifier calms my son, but if he's extremely tired then he throws a fit until I breastfeed him and then he falls asleep for the night

Is she over tired. My son does that if he's been up longer than 1.5 hours and the breast is the only effective way to calm him down. Occasionally walking and singing will help.

My babygirl does this also... She worries me because I try every thing and nothing works but to put her on the breast
