Baby sick, Mommy worried!

Hello everyone,

My son is just about 6 months and he has had a cold since the middle of July. I took him in to see his pediatrician and was told it would pass in a few weeks. 2 weeks ago he was starting to feel better but end of last week, he started showing symptoms of a cold again but this time he had a fever of 104. We went to the ER Saturday night and they found hr had an ear infection as well. He was given Motrin and antibiotics to take home. I followed up with his pediatrician and they just want me to keep an eye on him, I told her he was extremely fussy and just appears to be in pain and it's bothering me. I'm giving him Tylenol every few hours to help but idk if it is. Temp is around 100-102 at this point. Another issue is the diaper rash he's had, last night I noticed when I go to change him he gets so upset and cries. He is still a little red but it appears to be getting better. He is in daycare and I know colds come with that but this is way too much! I need some tips, advice from positive mom's who have been through this. Your help is appreciated.
