Okay ladies so I got this tattoo about 3 weeks ago. I'm sure it should be healed by now. On day 3, it was leaking yellow gunky stuff. It was wet, weeping, pulsating, red and hot. I was terrified that it was infected so I went to a doctor and thankfully it's not. I think it's in the latter stages of healing now - just recently a load of the scabs fell off. I'm just wondering if there's any way that I can get the last of the scabs to come off (of their own accord) no matter how much I moisturise it, it keeps drying out and catching on my work uniform and bleeding! it's itchy as well but that's normal at this stage right? I think I'm just hyper-sensitive to red ink with all the crap that's in it. Any advice on when to go for my next piece - it's gonna be in the same area, but all black and white, but rather large.
