Why is my ex calling me

So I'm confused my ex broke up with me six months ago she had a girlfriend they broke up and here she comes calling me it seems when I'm happy she calls so we had a conversation I thanked her because of the break up I got my shit together etc and I'm in a good place. Like I don't get why she's calling me Oh she said she wanted to see how I was doing
