how far apart are your children in age?

I just had my daughter June 16th but part of me really wants to get pregnant with baby #2 soon. How far apart are your children? And honestly how hard was it with two youngsters?

My friend had two boys who are 18 months apart. Her youngest is 4 months now, and she's exhausted. She regrets having them so close. She has no time for her oldest so he's not talking, not even close to beginning potty training, and can't interact properly. She doesn't disipline him so he runs around screaming and throwing things all day acting out because of lack of attention. She's always way too busy dealing with the baby and regrets it completely. Between the oldest's poor behaviour and the constant needs of the youngest, she has no time for anything else, including sleep. I feel terrible for her and her husband's useless.

My first 2 are 10.5 months between them!  I can honestly say i loved it!!! My wee woman was 5 weeks old on my sons first birthday,  and they started school together, look out for each other, yes there is fighting but all kids will bicker no matter what age

Between my oldest and middle there's 18 months and between my middle and youngest there's 11 months. I find it difficult the best of times especially as my youngest is a colicky baby so the lack of sleep as you can tell cause I'm still up now (4:15am in the UK), but I wouldn't change it for the world. I would be lying if I said it was the easiest thing ever, I prefer the bigger age gap between my oldest and middle.

My oldest will be 4 in November and his brother is 5 months old. Whoever says that the work doubles with baby #2 is so wrong! It is at least triple the work. Unless of course you have super easy babies (mine were both colicky & had acid reflux so that made it fun lol).
But the amount of love you'll have for both those babies makes up for all the hard work and sleepless nights. So if you want another baby soon, go for it! They'll grow faster than you know and they will have an amazing bond.
I am an only child so I always wanted at least two kids and when I see my boys interact just melts my heart. Good luck in whatever you decide to do!

My son turned 1 two weeks ago and I'm 20 weeks tomorrow with baby boy #2. Should be interesting. At the most they will be 17 months apart.
