Surgery for endometriosis? Advice please?

So I went to the RE, for bloodwork, HSG test, ultrasound, semen analysis & all is normal but doctor thinks I have endometriosis. He is suggesting IVF or surgery to check for/remove excess tissue. Totally devastated because I'm only 30 & I thought I'd just need Clomid or something simple to help😳 anyone have the surgery & have success conceiving after it?

I had surgery for endo prior to TTC. I felt really well after surgery and cycles were finally not excruciating. 
Fast forward when we were TTC did the HSG to ensure no scar tissue and tada we're now pregnant. Only 5 weeks along but I'll be 34 in September and was told originally I prob need clomid or ivf.

I've just been through this surgery 5 weeks ago. My Dr explained you should make sure the environment is right before moving onto ivf. Recovery was quite easy. Fingers crossed I fall naturally!

I had surgery last year at only 20 years old for endo I had quite a bit removed and got pregnant less than 3 months later had been trying for 9 months prior to surgery. I definitely recommend surgery it helps the pain significantly and it should help fertility
