Had my 39 week appointment today, didn't know what to expect as far as pain goes (ftm) so I had hubby come along for moral support lol. Thankfully it wasn't so bad! Not painful just uncomfortable. My Doctor told me that I'm 1 cm and my response was: "that's all"??! Lol but she said it's a good start, my cervix is short and soft and she could feel the baby's head. She also swept my membranes. So hopefully baby will won't make me wait too long!
