Did you buy a glider or chair/couch for your nursery?

I didn't -buy- anything. But I have plenty of recliners and couches. .

My parents got me a rocking chair. It is SO comfortable and I love it.

I bought an inexpensive glider from Walmart. I find the pricey ones are not comfortable enough to justify the price, for several hundred dollars I'd get comfortable lazy boy type chair that I could sleep on and use in another room once baby no longer needs a rocker.

It isn't crucial, but we got one for a good price that was lightly used!

Plan on getting some sort of rocking chair. Baby is only staying in our room while husband is off work for paternity leave. But once he's back to work, baby will be in her crib so she doesn't wake him up. (He works 14 hour shifts, he needs sleep) so she's up to me. So when it's feeding time and such I'm gonna want to sit, obviously, but I feel like the act of rocking will keep me awake. I'd fall asleep instantly if I was sitting still and super sleepy

So glad I splurged on a great glider/recliner. I use it all the time with my DD. It's great for nap time and bed time rituals and for feedings.

I SOOO want one, but we never had space within the baby's room for one. I thought with my second I might squeeze some space but the room would look too crowded. My friend had one in London and I sat in it and I just didn't wanna get up! I've been in love with the pottery barn ones ever since the store opened up here in Dubai but I'm one of those bad people who love looking at stuff and buying stuff that I think looks great and then never actually use it so I've controlled myself!
