Baby gear??

Question

FTM! Almost dome with my registry but unsure of some things. What kind of pack and play are you getting or do you have? What about bouncers? Didn't realize there were do many options for Pack&Plays out there lol. Most of them seem to have the removable seat and changer on top, but is thay really necessary when you're getting a Bouncer too?

We got one with just the changer on top, I believe it's a graco from babies r us and was around $80. I use the changer every day and my daughter is 4 months, we keep the pack and play downstairs and since we spend the most time down there during the day it's used much more often than the changing table in her room. I think the changing part is worth it for those first few months (she's starting to get a little big for it now).

Get any bouncer that looks cute and is lightweight.  You will put the baby in there when you pee, shower, etc.

No pack and play for me.  Just a crib.

We have a crib and changing table in the nursery but got a pack n play (with the reversible bassinet/changing station) for the bedroom since he'll sleep in there with us for a bit. Once he's transitioned to sleeping in his nursery we'll have the pack n play for elsewhere in the house (it's easy to move since it has wheels on 2 of the legs) or for bringing to gatherings if needed. It's a Graco brand from Target, like $80-$90 or something. REALLY like it. And for now with it in the bedroom the baby will sleep in the bassinet portion and I have a make-shift changing station (with the diapers, wipes, lotions, etc) sitting in the restrictive pack n play with the mattress at the raised position :-)

We didn't get a pack n play until our first camping trip at 6 months.
